Culture is not dead. It just takes effort to seek it out and reap the reward. If art is about raising ordinary life to something elevated and beautiful, then the dance performance at the Van Nuys FlyAway this weekend is a perfect example. Dancer and choreographer Sarah Elgart is bringing magic to our community free of charge and full of artistic joy. The piece is at the flyaway bus terminal in Van Nuys and strangely it is the perfect setting for the haunting performance.
