Did you know that we can grow more powerful when our vibrations are strong? Did you know eating GMO tainted foods will create an unhealthy frequency in our body which makes it easier to be controlled by the corporations running our world? I know you may think I'm a nut job but the more research I do the more I see the truth of this. Eating pure, untainted, non-gmo produce can effect not only our physical beings but also the way we think and what we attract.

Last month I had the pleasure of hosting an event for one of my heros' Vandana Shiva. My friends and I have created an anti GMO group and one of the perks is that we can support vanguards who are actually fighting the good fight against the agro-corporations. Vandana spoke about the things we can do to protect our food source. We filmed this so you can see the inspiring words directly. The three things we can do right now to insure seed safety are:

1) To grow gardens everywhere. rooftops, balconies, front yards. This will be a form of resistance. Start to grow our own food and save the seeds.

2) To acknowledge that we are part of a the earth.  Reconnect to the land.

3) Connect to organizations like seed freedom.com to become educated and galvanized.

Part 1 ~ Panchakarma with Martha Soffer

Martha Soffer

Martha Soffer is a wise, compassionate healer in the Ayurvedic tradition. Surya Spa is her clinic in a house in the Pacific Palisades, where after a session she will feed you a nourishing delicious meal of organic daal and vegetables cooked in coconut oil. I went to her to experience the benefits of the ancient and profound oil and herb treatment called Panchakarma which detoxifies your system as it rebalances. Martha recommends a series of treatments but I felt the benefits after just one session. The herbs are picked out by Martha for what you want to address and then set in hot oil. All the oils used are organic and feel divine being absorbed into the skin. I felt truly blessed to have practitioner Leana and Martha heal my ragged nervous system. Sea Buckthorn Oil

I haven't succumbed to botox and hope I never do! One thing I do, do though is take supplements to maintain skin elasticity and moisture. My new favorite obsession is Sea Buckthorn oil which contains the rare omega 7 factor.  I like New Chapter Supercritical Omega 7 because it's from a company I trust and it is mixed with some herbs like calendula and  rosemary for added strength.
