Out with fancy pants La Roche . . . in with good ole’ Badger

Like many ladies I know, years ago I was buying up my La Roche de Posay sunscreen if I happened to be in New York at Bigelow Pharmacy, or through a friend who was traveling to Europe. How excited were we when it became available on line or at CVS Pharmacy! And then the reports started surfacing about how toxic certain sunscreens were: “A 2008 Centers of Disease Control study linked the ubiquitous oxybenzone to cell damage, hormone disruption and allergies. ” (Eco Stiletto) So now we know that not only is the sun harmful for us, but so are some sunscreens. Here is a link to an article that discusses the frightening effects of cancer causing chemicals in most sunscreens. This was sent to me by Honi Borden from Holecolife: www.herexchange.com/2011/07/truth-about-sunscreen

I’ve been using Badger sunscreen on my kids and on myself. It is safe,
pure, and easy find. They sell it at most health food stores.

Cotz Fallene is a great sunblock that contains only titanium and zinc but with a tint so it makes my skin look even toned without makeup. This is a favorite!

Hi Shiva! So, I guess you might have gotten my email about La Roche a little while ago, where I did nothing but sing my praises to you about it! And all the while, you were saying..No, no no. …I am definitely hearing what you are saying about the toxicity of the oxybenzene….but… what about the Mexoryl? I mean I have been under the impression that IT is really the only products that actually gives you broad spectrum coverage… ?
